What Cairna does on your street.
Cairna works with towns, counties and builders to make streets and daily trips work better: safer crossings, easier walks, better ways to get where you are going.
You know your street.
You know things about your street that no map shows. That knowledge shapes the work, from the first walk to the final decision.
How it works, start to finish.
We walk it with you
The work starts on foot, with the people who use the street every day. What you point out becomes part of the plan.
Changes go in as a trial
Where a change can be tried first, it goes in with temporary materials for a stated period, before anything is permanent.
Results come back to you
We share what changed and what the numbers show, whatever they show. Then everyone can look at the results together.
Trade-offs, before they happen
Some changes involve a trade-off, like a parking space or a turn. When that happens, we say so before the change, explain the reason, and say who makes the final decision. When something changes because residents spoke up, we say that too.
